[TOUR ITINERARY]
DAY 1: HUE - LY SON ISLAND
Morning: At 6:00 AM, the tour guide will pick you up from the meeting point in Hue City. Then, the group will be transported to Sa Ky port. The guide will assist with boarding procedures for the fast ferry to Ly Son Island. The ferry departs at 11:30 AM.
Lunch will be served upon arrival at Ly Son. (Note: The latest ferry departs from Sa Ky port to Ly Son at 3:00 PM).
Afternoon: The group will begin a tour to visit famous landmarks on Ly Son Island:
- Chua Hang (Hang Pagoda) - Known for being inside the largest cave in the Ly Son cave system, this is one of Vietnam's most unique pagodas.
- Thoi Loi Peak - The highest point of an extinct volcano, offering panoramic views of the entire Ly Son Island. At the peak, there is a freshwater lake with a capacity of 30,000 cubic meters, which supplies fresh water to both Big and Small Islands.
- Hang Cau (Cau Cave) - Formed thousands of years ago by the erosive power of wind and sea, creating a mesmerizing and poetic landscape that captivates visitors.
- Hon Mu Cu - Located near the An Hai harbor, this spot is known for its striking black rocks in unique shapes. It is an ideal place to relax and watch the sunset on the island.
Evening: Enjoy dinner with local specialties of Ly Son Island. Afterward, you are free to explore Ly Son at night.
DAY 2: LY SON ISLAND - BE ISLAND (VIETNAM'S HAWAII)
Morning: After breakfast (seafood porridge), the tour guide and vehicle will take you to Be Island, known for its coral reefs and pristine beauty.
Board the canoe for a trip to Be Island (also called An Binh Island). Upon arrival, you can:
- Take photos of the stunning scenery, often likened to Vietnam’s own Hawaii with palm trees, white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and untouched beauty.
- Experience the local life of the people of Ly Son.
- Visit garlic fields and learn about the garlic cultivation process, which explains why Ly Son’s garlic has become famous across Vietnam (seasonal activity).
Continue with a 10-minute walk to Binh An Beach, where you can swim and relax on the island's most beautiful beach with soft, white sand.
You will then have the option to go snorkeling (at your own expense) to discover the rich marine life. Local people will provide you with necessary equipment such as a round boat, life jacket, and diving gear. Afterward, return to the main island and have lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: The tour continues with visits to:
- Hoang Sa Flotilla Exhibition House – A valuable historical collection about the Hoang Sa Flotilla and the evidence of Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa Archipelago.
- Am Linh Tu – The site of the annual Khao Le The Linh Hoang Sa ceremony.
- Chua Duc – Situated at the foot of the Gioi Trong Mountain, this pagoda features a 27-meter tall statue of Quan The Am, with a unique architectural style based on the surrounding cliffs.
- To Vo Gate – A popular and romantic location, ideal for watching the sunset on Ly Son Island.
Evening: Return to the hotel, rest, and enjoy free time to explore the Ly Son Night Market, where you can taste local delicacies and specialties.
DAY 3: LY SON ISLAND - HUE
Morning: After checking out of the hotel, enjoy a breakfast of seafood porridge.
You are free to swim, shop, and explore Ly Son Island.
At 9:00 AM, the vehicle will take you to the Ly Son port for the fast ferry back to Sa Ky port.
On the way back to Hue, lunch will be served in Da Nang city. Afterward, the group will be transferred back to the original meeting point in Hue, marking the end of the 3-day 2-night Ly Son tour.
(Note: The earliest fast ferry departs Sa Ky port at 7:30 AM, and the latest departure is at 3:00 PM).
