[TOUR ITINERARY]

DAY 1: THUE THIEN HUE - CUA VIET - CON CO ISLAND

Morning:

• 5:30 AM: The company's car and guide will pick you up at the meeting point in Huế and depart for Cửa Việt, preparing for the 2-day, 1-night Cồn Cỏ Quảng Trị tour.

• Breakfast stop at Hai Lang - Quang Tri.

• 8:00 AM: The speedboat departs from Cua Viet, taking you to Con Co Island District.

• 9:00 AM: The canoe arrives, and visitors begin exploring Con Co Island - considered an outpost at the 17th parallel, guarding the eastern part of the country. Famous for its glorious victories and being one of the beautiful islands in central Vietnam. The group gathers for a souvenir photo at the Con Co Island District Welcome Gate.

• National Flagpole: One of the largest flagpoles on Vietnam's coastal islands, standing 38.8 meters tall with a 24-square-meter national flag. The Con Co Island District National Flagpole represents the aspirations of generations, symbolizing independence, peace, and affirming the sacred sovereignty of the nation.

• Hotel check-in.

• Visit the Martyrs' Memorial on Con Co Island to honor the soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the nation's maritime sovereignty.

Noon: 

• 11:30 AM: Lunch at a restaurant, followed by rest.

Afternoon:

• Free time for sightseeing.

• 4:00 PM: Beach time.

• 5:00 PM: Conquer the Cồn Cỏ Lighthouse, the highest point on the island, offering panoramic views of Cồn Cỏ Island, fresh air, cool sea breezes, and serene scenery.

• Sunset viewing at the lighthouse.

Evening:

• 6:30 PM: Dinner, enjoying local specialties. Free time to explore Cồn Cỏ Island at night.

• Overnight stay on Cồn Cỏ Island

DAY 2: CON CO ISLAND - HUE

• 5:00 AM: Wake up to watch the sunrise.
• 6:30 AM: Breakfast and check-out procedures.
• 7:30 AM: Electric car transfer to Cồn Cỏ port.
• 8:00 AM: Depart from Cồn Cỏ Island back to the mainland. Upon arrival at Cửa Việt port, the car will pick you up and return to Huế.
• Return to Huế and drop off at the initial meeting point, concluding the tour.

NOTES:

To ensure a complete trip to Cồn Cỏ Island, please note the following information:

1. Personal Documents: The group needs to bring one of the following three types of documents

   • Passport: Valid for at least 6 months from the departure date, with a clear image.
   • Visa: If required, ensure it is valid and up-to-date.
   • Children: Must bring the original birth certificate or a photocopy with a red stamp. ⇒ If children are of age for an ID card but do not have one, they need to obtain a personal identification certificate with a red stamp from the local police where they reside.

2. Preparing Supplies:

   • Bring necessary items such as: motion sickness medicine, insect repellent, sunscreen, camera, swimsuit, hat.
   • Those who like diving can bring specialized diving goggles.
   • Bring a backup charger as Cồn Cỏ Island has phone signal but it can be unstable at times.

3. Environmental and Cồn Cỏ Island Notes:

   • Freshwater is quite scarce on the island, so use water sparingly and reasonably.
   • Do not litter to avoid environmental pollution.
   • Do not take photos or post photos at prohibited points.
   • Rock crabs: Do not catch and eat them, and do not take rock crabs off the island..
   • When walking in the primary forest, do not hunt or eat wild animals
   • Wear soft shoes suitable for walking on the island.

4. Tour Guide:

   • Tourists need to follow the guide's instructions throughout the tour.
