MORNING: DISCOVERING HUẾ

8:00 AM – The tour guide and vehicle pick up guests from hotels in central Huế and depart for Thien Mu Pagoda, an ancient temple built in the early 17th century.

Thiên Mụ Pagoda, also known as Linh Mụ Pagoda, is a historic temple situated by the poetic Hương River. Built in 1601 during Lord Nguyễn Hoàng's reign, it is famous for its iconic seven-story Phuoc Duyen Tower, a symbol of Huế. This sacred site is not only a spiritual retreat but also a picturesque attraction that evokes deep emotions in visitors.

Following this, the group continues to Đại Nội and enjoys a royal costume photoshoot.

Dai Noi served as the political and cultural hub of the Nguyễn Dynasty—the last feudal dynasty of Vietnam. It comprises Hoang Thanh (Imperial City) and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden City), featuring architectural landmarks such as Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Haa Palace, and The Mieu. A visit here allows guests to relive the grandeur of imperial life.

A special highlight is the royal costume experience, where guests can don traditional Nguyễn Dynasty attire like Nhat Binh robes and Giao Lanh robes, transforming into emperors, queens, and princesses for unforgettable photos amidst the majestic palace setting.

Next, the tour heads to Dong Ba Market for shopping.

Dong Ba Market, the largest and oldest marketplace in Huế, has stood by the Hương River for over 100 years. It is the perfect destination to experience local culture, sample traditional delicacies like mè xửng (sesame candies), tôm chua (fermented shrimp), and conical hats, and browse unique souvenirs.

12:00 PM – Guests enjoy a delightful lunch at a Huế specialty restaurant.

AFTERNOON: TAM GIANG LAGOON EXPERIENCE

2:00 PM – Depart for Tam Giang Lagoon, Southeast Asia’s largest brackish-water lagoon, located just 15 km from central Huế. Along the way, the guide shares insights into the area where the Hương River meets the sea and the distinct cultural practices of the coastal communities.

Check-in at Rú Chá Mangrove Forest.

3:00 PM – Arrive at Rú Chá Forest, a lush "green lung" of the lagoon, where winding mangrove trees reflect beautifully on the water, creating a poetic setting for visitors to explore and capture stunning photos.

The journey continues to Tam Giang Lagoon for a series of immersive activities:

  • Boat tour on Tam Giang Lagoon – Glide across serene waters, marvel at quiet fishing huts, and witness the peaceful lives of local fishermen.

  • Traditional fishing experience ("catch fish") – Guests can try their hand at "catch fish", an authentic fishing technique, gaining insight into the skill and challenges of local fishers.

  • Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) & sunset viewing – Enjoy tranquil moments paddling in the open lagoon. As the sun sets, hues of orange and violet paint the sky, providing a breathtaking photo opportunity.

6:30 PM – Enjoy a seafood dinner on a floating restaurant.

Savor freshly caught delicacies such as stir-fried clams with lemongrass, braised brown fish, steamed tiger shrimp, and more, in a tranquil setting illuminated by twinkling lights over the water.

7:30 PM – The tour concludes, and guests are transported back to central Huế, returning to their initial pick-up points.
