DAY 1: BACH MA NATIONAL PARK - CAMPING & BBQ PARTY

Morning:

Option 1:

6:30 - 7:00: The group departs to visit Bach Ma from Hoi An

7:30 - 8:00: The group departs to visit Bach Ma from Da Nang

Option 2:

8:00 - 8:30: The group departs to visit Bach Ma from Hue

• The group will be transferred to Bach Ma National Park Exhibition House – the starting point of the journey, where fascinating information about the primary forest ecosystem, rare flora and fauna, and the history of Bach Ma – the “Green Roof” between Hue and Da Nang – is presented.

• Here, the guide introduces hundreds of rare plant species, including some found exclusively in Bach Ma, along with the history of the French-era hill station, once a renowned mountain retreat often called the “mini Da Lat” of the ancient capital

Luch: Experience the pureness of the green forest

• The journey continues with a gentle trek to Ngu Ho – a cluster of five natural lakes connected together, crystal clear like glass. Guests can touch the cool, refreshing water, feel the purity of Bach Ma’s ancient forest, and enjoy the pristine, fresh surroundings accompanied by the soothing sound of flowing streams. This is an ideal spot for swimming in the cool waters, relaxing in nature, or simply sitting by the lakeside to admire the majestic scenery.
• After the exploration, the group will stop for lunch and light refreshments amidst the cool mountain air, enjoying a meal in the heart of the forest.
• From Ngu Ho, the trek continues through the ancient forest, filled with fresh air, birdsong, and rustling leaves, to reach Do Quyen Waterfall, with a height of over 300 meters. The path includes winding slopes, offering moments of breathtaking natural beauty. In spring, the trails are adorned with vibrant rhododendron blooms, painting the hillsides in shades of pink and red, blending with the roaring waterfall to create a poetic and romantic landscape.

• Exhibits, models, images, and preserved specimens of plants and animals provide visitors with a deeper understanding of this unique ecosystem, offering an immersive experience of nature amid the majestic mountains and forests.

• Next, the journey continues by bus to Km12 – the junction between the main road and the mountain trail. From here, guests transfer to specialized ranger vehicles to continue to the beginning of the adventure ahead.

• The group then ascends directly to Hai Vong Dai Peak, the highest point of the journey and an exciting mountain challenge. From this vantage point, visitors can take in the expansive scenery, where clouds merge with mountains and the distant sea stretches beyond. On clear, sunny days, one can see Canh Duong Beach, Tam Giang Lagoon, and Cau Hai Lagoon, all forming a breathtaking natural panorama.

Afternoon: The group returns to Thong Nang campsite to receive tents and personal equipment

Evening:

The group sets up tents and camps overnight at the peak of Bach Ma Mountain. A campfire is organized with artistic and cultural activities under the dancing flames.

The highlight of the outdoor trip is a BBQ dinner on the pristine Bach Ma peak. Connect Travel hosts a warm gathering where everyone enjoys a selection of tantalizing grilled dishes. This promises to be an unforgettable evening for all participants.

The group has the option to embark on a night hike to Hai Vong Dai Observatory, offering a unique and memorable experience.

DAY 2: BACH MA NATIONAL PARK - HUE/DANANG

Morning:

05:30 AM: The group wakes up early to enjoy the fresh sunrise at the peak of Bach Ma Mountain. Guests meditate and drink tea, breathing in the natural atmosphere at Hai Vong Dai, the highest point of Bach Ma. A light breakfast is served for the group.

09:00 AM: Tents are packed up as the group prepares to leave Bach Ma. Transportation is provided to return guests to Hue City or Da Nang.
