DA NANG - HERITAGE - HUE - QUANG TRI- CON CO ISLAND

[TOUR ITINERARY]

DAY 1: DA NANG - HUE HERITAGE TRAIN

Afternoon:

• 14:30: Guests arrive at Da Nang train station to check-in for the Da Nang - Hue Heritage Train HĐ4, which departs at 15:00.
• The "Connecting Central Heritage" train will take passengers on a 3-hour journey through Hai Van Pass, famously known as the "World’s Most Beautiful Pass," leading to Hue – home to one of the six most beautiful beaches on the planet. From the train, guests can admire breathtaking natural landscapes, where the two regions of the North and South meet, with the Truong Son Mountain Range on one side and the vast sea on the other.
• The train will stop at Lang Co station at the foot of Hai Van Pass for 10 minutes, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Lang Co Bay. The train consists of 5 air-conditioned soft-seated cars and one community car for cultural programs and local cuisine.
• 17:45: Guests arrive at Hue station, where the tour guide will take them to the hotel. Guests are free to enjoy dinner and explore Hue city at night.
  Overnight in Hue.

DAY 2: THUA THIEN HUE - CUA VIET - CON CO ISLAND

Morning:

• 05:30: The company’s bus and tour guide will pick up guests from their hotel in Hue and depart for Cua Viet to begin the 2-day 1-night Con Co Island Tour in Quang Tri.
• Stop for breakfast at Hai Lang - Quang Tri.
• 08:00: The high-speed boat departs from Cua Viet, taking guests to Con Co Island.
• 09:30: The canoe docks, and guests begin to explore Con Co Island, a frontline base located at latitude 17, guarding the easternmost part of the country. Famous for its heroic feats, it is also one of the most beautiful islands in Central Vietnam. The group will gather for a commemorative photo at the Con Co Island Welcome Gate.
• National Flagpole: One of the largest flagpoles on the coastal islands of Vietnam, standing 38.8 meters tall with a national flag of 24m². This flagpole represents independence, peace, and the affirmation of the sacred sovereignty of the nation.
  Check-in at the hotel.
• Visit the Con Co Island Martyrs Memorial to honor the soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the sovereignty of the nation's sea and islands.

Lunch:

• 11:30: Lunch at a local restaurant and rest.

Afternoon:

• Free to explore.
• 16:00: Go swimming at the beach.
• 17:00: Conquer the Con Co Lighthouse, the highest point of the island, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the island, breathe in the fresh air, feel the cool sea breeze, and admire the peaceful landscape.
• Watch the sunset from the lighthouse.

Evening:

• 18:30: Dinner with local specialties. Guests are free to explore Con Co Island at night.

Overnight on Con Co Island.

DAY 3: CON CO ISLAND - HUE

• 05:00: Guests wake up to watch the sunrise at the easternmost point of Con Co Island.
• 06:30: Breakfast and check-out.
• 07:30: Electric vehicle takes guests to Con Co Port.
• 08:00: Guests board the boat to bid farewell to Con Co Island, returning to the mainland. Upon arriving at Cua Viet port, a bus will take guests back to Hue.
  Lunch at a local restaurant.
• 14:00: Arrive at Hue station, check-in for the Hue - Da Nang train HĐ3 at 14:25.
• The tour guide will bid farewell as guests head to Da Nang, ending the tour program.

NOTES:

To ensure a complete trip to Con Co Island, please note the following information:

1. Personal Documents: The group needs to bring one of the following three types of documents

   • Passport: Valid for at least 6 months from the departure date, with a clear image.
   • Visa: If required, ensure it is valid and up-to-date.
   • Children: Must bring the original birth certificate or a photocopy with a red stamp. ⇒ If children are of age for an ID card but do not have one, they need to obtain a personal identification certificate with a red stamp from the local police where they reside.

2. Preparing Supplies:

   • Bring necessary items such as: motion sickness medicine, insect repellent, sunscreen, camera, swimsuit, hat.
   • Those who like diving can bring specialized diving goggles.
   • Bring a backup charger as Cồn Cỏ Island has phone signal but it can be unstable at times.

3. Environmental and Cồn Cỏ Island Notes:

   • Freshwater is quite scarce on the island, so use water sparingly and reasonably.
   • Do not litter to avoid environmental pollution.
   • Do not take photos or post photos at prohibited points.
   • Rock crabs: Do not catch and eat them, and do not take rock crabs off the island..
   • When walking in the primary forest, do not hunt or eat wild animals
   • Wear soft shoes suitable for walking on the island.

4. Tour Guide:

   • Tourists need to follow the guide's instructions throughout the tour.
